Look, we get it. It stinks to hear someone saying that ‘they’re too intimidated to roleplay with you’. But have you ever considered this from their perspective? Do you have any idea of how terrifying it can be even attempting to roleplay with someone who is just so much better? How much a punch in the gut and self-confidence it can be attempting to plot and just seeing it crumble because you can’t follow the pace?
I mean, this is like walking up to a professional and trying to show your mediocre abilities. You know you look absolutely ridiculous and no matter what the professional say you will feel stupid.
So please, stop complaining. It just makes it all the worse.

you start to wonder if they’re actually intimidated because they think you write well, or if they’re intimidated because they’re just afraid of you
you start to wonder if everyone actually hates you, and if you should just quit trying forever because you’re clearly too big of an asshole to actually rp anymore
the thing is, when people say “stop saying you’re too intimidated to roleplay, c’mon, i don’t bite” they mean “please i enjoy your writing even if you don’t and i want to have fun with you”
they mean “look i get this from everyone and it’s not like i’m actually better than you”
the reason people complain about this is because they can’t rp anymore because everyone is too “intimidated”
and at that point you might as well not bother ever writing at all, no matter how “good” people think you are
it’s never fun if no one else wants to play with you because they hate you
